Meet the Team
Camilla Smith
Camilla Smith received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Counseling from Mid-Continent University (Mayfield, KY) and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson School of Professional Counseling (Columbia, KY). She completed the Certificate Program in Traumatic Stress Studies from The Trauma Center, JRI (Justice Resource Center, Boston). These studies in developmental trauma and traumatic stress led her to become focused on the treatment of complex trauma and dissociative disorders. She has also spent several years working in the substance abuse treatment field and her work with addiction has led her to an understanding of how developmental trauma and dissociative/fragmented personality play into the problem of addiction. Her approach to therapy is focused on trauma and addiction.
Christy Harris
Christy Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Murray State University (Murray, KY) and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Fort Worth, TX). Licensed in KY as a professional clinical counselor, Christy specializes in child and family counseling through the use of play and filial therapy, sandtray therapy, art therapy, and Child Parent Relationship Therapy.
