Meet Christy Harris

Christy Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Murray State University (Murray, KY) and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Fort Worth, TX). Licensed in KY as a professional clinical counselor, Christy specializes in child and family counseling through the use of play and filial therapy, sandtray therapy, art therapy, and Child Parent Relationship Therapy.

Christy also works with couples as a certified SYMBIS assessment facilitator. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming, Christy treats a number of depression and anxiety-related issues in adults. As a certified instructor, Christy incorporates the practices of yoga to aid with relaxation and stress management. Additionally, Christy uses the Safe and Sound Protocol, an integrated listening system, in her work with children and adults.
